Pursuant to Governor Stitt’s Executive Order 2020-06 and President Trump’s declaration of a National Public Health Emergency, the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) is authorizing the following facilities to restrict visitors as they deem necessary to protect those they serve:

Monday, March 16, 2020
  • As of this advisory, there are 10 positive cases of COVID-19 in Oklahoma.

Sunday, March 15, 2020
  • Three additional individuals have tested positive for COVID-19. The cases are in Cleveland, Payne and Tulsa counties. There are currently seven cases in Oklahoma.
  • County health officials are working with each case to determine close contacts and any further need for testing.
  • Moving forward, the CDC is no longer confirming presumptive positive cases. All positive cases reported in the Oklahoma State Department of Health public health laboratory will stand as confirmed.
Saturday, March 14, 2020
  • We continue to work with our health care partners to ensure individuals who need to be tested for COVID-19 will receive access to testing. 
  • The OSDH has authorized hospitals, nursing facilities, assisted living centers, adult day care centers, jails and detention centers to restrict visitors as they deem necessary to protect those they serve.
